Have you ever wondered if there is a place in the Bible that talks about artists in church?  Many doubt,  but there is certainly a good case for creativity within the house of God.  

 Let me start by  dropping a little inspo to get you thinking and studying about this topic .  There is a precedent in scripture called the law of first mention. That's a hermeneutical approach to biblical  interpretation.  A first mention or first occurrence of a word, or concept is thought to establish a foundational meaning or pattern that shapes the most fundamental understanding of its meaning.

With that in mind, the very first mention of someone being filled with the Holy Spirit of God is when Bezalel, who was an artisan/craftsman, was filled with the Holy Spirit and anointed with skills and knowledge to do all kinds of creative works for the purpose of designing the tabernacle for worship.  Read about this in Exodus. It's amazing to think The Creator, who made us in his image, chose creatives to design the place and function in the place where God would be worshiped!
